Ready Set Clicks was founded by Joel Arnold — someone who didn't stumble into YouTube, but grew up there. He and his sister ran a channel together for over 10 years, posting just because they loved it. (There's also an older channel he deleted and deeply regrets — not because it was good, but because those cringy videos were a rite of passage.)

"We're talking the early days. When Nigahiga was still posting his 'How To Be A' series. When Dave Days hadn't yet met Miley Cyrus. When MysteryGuitarMan was genuinely the most creative musician on the internet."

That era shaped everything. The scrappiness, the creativity, the sense that anyone with a camera and something to say could build a real audience. Joel fell in love with what YouTube represented — not as a platform, but as a place where authentic people found their people.

Since then, he's worked with multiple channels amounting to millions of subscribers — helping grow audiences, nail down content strategies, and crack the algorithm across a wide range of niches. The big channels got bigger. But what stuck with Joel was a different question:

Millie Adrian — known as Modern Millie — is an online educator and content creator teaching aspiring creators how to grow on Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok, land brand deals, and build a full-time income from their content.

Joel joined Millie's team in 2020 as her Thumbnail Designer. Over the next four years, that role grew organically — contributing video ideas, running keyword research, analyzing channel analytics, and translating those findings into every upload. By 2024, Joel was brought on full-time as her YouTube Creative Director.

In that role, he oversaw research-backed thumbnail strategy with multiple A/B test iterations, developed video concepts, outlined and scripted episodes, QA'd edited videos, and coached students in Millie's YouTube courses. Every part of the channel's growth engine.
